Dagmar Jírová, M.D., Ph.D. performs the safety assessment of cosmetic product for local manufacturers in the Czech Republic and for foreign companies according to requirements of the Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, on cosmetic products. She is certified safety assessor and holder of a certificate on the “Safety Assessment of Cosmetics in the EU” on Vrije University, Brussels, Belgium. As a head of the Centre of Toxicology and Health Safety and the National Reference Centre of Cosmetics at the National Institute of Public Health she is more than 15 years experienced expert in safety assessment of consumer products and cosmetics. She also assessed the safety of cosmetics placed on the market of the Czech Republic by company Brinlen s.r.o. All assessed products of this company meet the requirements of binding EU regulations for cosmetics and have been issued a positive Safety Report.
